Virtakivi Sauna is an excellent place to visit
Virtakiven Sauna locates on the east bank of the river Kymijoki.
We offer services such as a seasonal coffee house, restaurant, port services, and a small grocery store, coffee roastery, banquette, conference and exhibition facilities, “container bar” at the waterfront, and, as the name suggests: Sauna. The seasonal coffee shop is open during summer.
Virtakiven Sauna is open on holidays as well throughout the year. At other times, the facilities are available for private functions.
Coffee Shop
- Open through summer every day from 9am to 6pm.
- Outside opening hours, the coffee shop can be used for banquettes and private functions.
- We bake every day
- Buffet lunch is served every day from 11am to 3pm
- A small grocery and gift shop
- Art exhibitions throughout the summer
Container Bar and Waterfront Park
- The bar is open Tue-Thu from 6pm to 10pm and Fri-Sat from 6pm until midnight.
- Mondays "bar quiz"
- Tuesdays "yoga in the park"
- Wednesdays "sing along"
- Thursdays "zumba in the park"
- Fridays "music bingo and karaoke"
- Saturdays live music
- Sunday yard sale
Sauna
Morning sauna throughout the summer. At other times sauna and the adjoining cabinet are used for private functions.
